Slashfilm.com is confirming that work has started on a second sequel to 1984’s “Ghostbusters“. According to /film Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, co-exec producers/writers on NBC’s “The Office,” were brought on board by Columbia Pictures to write the script.
Members of the original cast have not yet signed on to the project, but Ivan Reitman, who directed Ghostbusters and it’s 1989 sequel, “is ‘aware and involved’ in the project’s development.” Click the link for more details. [Slashfilm]
