Actor Morgan Freeman is in the final throes of a messy divorce settlement
While their divorce was finalized last month, Freeman and ex-wife Myrna are still negotiating the terms of a settlement.

In what may turn out to be one of the largest divorce settlements, Myrna is expected to walk away with $400 million in cash and property.
The 26-year marriage hit rocky ground following the 2008 revelation that Freeman was allegedly involved in an extra marital affair with schoolteacher Mary Joyce Hays, Freeman and Myrna split soon after.
In 2009 news spread that Freeman had a 10-year long affair with, then 27-year-old, E’Dena Hines, the step-granddaughter of his first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. Making the affair more scandalous, Freeman and Myrna had raised Hines as their own child.
Speculation about Myrna‘s expected payout has been flying, with original figures nearing the $170 million mark. But a source close to her says she’ll likely be awarded a much larger sum, in addition to a $7 million house in the British Virgin Islands, a home in Los Angeles and an apartment beside New York’s Central Park.
Morgan Freeman is the seventh-highest grossing actor of all time, with a career-long worldwide box office of an estimated $2.79 billion.
