Breath easy, Sylvester Stallone is fine, unfortunately Estelle Getty has passed away.
The former Golden Girl passed away in Los Angeles this morning at the age of 84 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Ms. Getty shot to fame in the 1980’s NBC sitcom, “Golden Girl,” where she played Sophia Petrillo. The show also starred Bea Arthur, Betty White and Rue McClanahan.
Over the years Ms. Getty appeared in a number of television show and movies including:
“Empty Nest”, “Nurses”, “Blossom”, “Brotherly Love”, “Mad About You”, “Tootsie”, “Mask“, and of course, “Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot!” alongside Sylvester Stallone.
