Peabo Bryson on the mend after heart attack

Peabo Bryson is on his way to a relatively speedy recovery following a heart attack last week.

The 68 year old two-time Grammy Award-winning singer, who recently celebrated his birthday, is active on the tour circuit. A family representive shared that Bryson’s upcoming tour dates, which had to cancelled after the health scare, will be rescheduled.

“We are happy to report that Double Grammy/Double Oscar Award-winning balladeer, Peabo Bryson, is on his way to making a full recovery!”

“Mr. Bryson is still listed in stable condition and is improving, rapidly… The family continues to request privacy, but extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to friends and fans for the outpour of love and support expressed throughout this experience.”

Bryson had a string of hits during the 80s including, “Can You Stop the Rain”, “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again”, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love”, along with cross over hits “A Whole New World” and “Beauty & The Beast” from the Aladdin and Beauty & The Beast soundtracks.
