Attorney Lance Lazzaro has submitted documents on behalf of Tekashi 6ix9ine, requesting that the judge allow him to finish the remainder of his sentence at home or a community correctional facility. The rapper was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison for racketeering and has already served about 14 months, including time served while awaiting trial.

6ix9ine was granted a lesser sentence in exchange for his testimony that led to the conviction of two men. He claims that he is in danger because of his testimony against the “Nine Trey Bloods” adding that the private prison is full of Blood gang members.

No word yet on the judge’s decision.
