To no one’s surprise, after telling on everyone, Tekashi 6ix9ine may be on his way home; K. Michelle can’t wait to see him

Daniel Hernandez, better known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, has had a chaotic couple of years: joining a street gang, putting out hits on rival rappers, being raided by the Feds, facing football numbers in prison, snitching on seemingly everyone who ran with him, and then some. But some sunshine may start shining through the clouds.

Mohammed Gangat — an attorney who, though not connected to the case, has been attending hearings and providing regular updates on social media and traditional media — reported that he was able to view legal documentation stating that Hernandez’s release date is set for Wednesday 18,2019. Hernandez was facing decades in prison on racketeering and other charges, but cut a deal to rat out his Blood gang in exchange for less time. He has been in custody since the November 2018 federal raid that rounded up several Nine Trey Gangsters gang members.

According to Gangat, ”When it’s all said and done, he’s likely to have served just under one year in federal prison. The way federal sentencing works is the government tells the judge what sentence the person should get. Here, the government hasn’t asked for any sentence. When the government doesn’t ask for a sentence, what they’re saying is time served, no sentence.”

Prosecutors have previously asked for a lenient sentence. Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, has said that Hernandez’s cooperation was helpful in establishing cases on other Trey Nine members, and his sentence should be greatly reduced because of his impactful testimony, ”Hernandez provided the Government with critical insight into the structure and organization of Nine Trey, identified the gang’s key players, and described acts of violence that he personally witnessed or that he heard about from other Nine Trey members.”

But, in the end this may all just be speculation, we’ll have to wait to see what happens on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the news is another reason for his fans to be joyous this holiday season, including singer K. Michelle: ”Idc idc im happy 69 is getting out. That man is so entertaining& I like his music.Shit he didnt snitch on me, and if somebody tried to kill me i’m snitching 2,and im snitching on you cheating niggas. Lol.Half these rappers y’all like ARE NOT ABOUT THAT LIFE. Big FACTS”

“I will press charges and send yo ass right to jail and sleep like a baby.”

Hernandez’s testimony has lead to prison sentences ranging from 5 to 15 years for his former gang associates.
