2020 is sure to be the year of the female rapper as more and more female emcees continue to make inroads into the music industry. But Asian Doll will be looking for a new label home after being released from Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records.

Asian Doll was first signed to Gucci Mane’s label in August of 2018. It’s not apparent why the artist wanted to be released from her record deal, but she took to her Instagram, telling fans, “I ASKED GUCCI MANE TO RELEASE ME FROM 1017 A COUPLE DAYS AGO & HE SAID ‘OKAY’ I’M OFFICIALLY AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST 💯 thank you alamo records/Eskimo Records for the opportunity but I’m NO LONGER IN MY DEAL. THANK YOU GOD 💪🏾.”

Gucci Mane took to his Twitter page to ask his fans for a little bit of help. “Who the hottest unsigned artist now?? Turn me on I’m trying make some one a millionaire it’s 2020!! #1017Worlwide. 1st artist I sign to 1017 U get a million 2020!! #1017WorldwideMillionaires 🥶” and “2020 I’m running 1017 Like The mob ! Starting over from stratch! Hustlers who want to be millionaires only!!!”

If you think you’re an undiscovered artist I would hit Gucci Mane up asap for that million-dollar payday!
