Everybody got his or her start somewhere. Check out these 10 celebrities and what they had to do to earn a buck before Hollywood came knocking.

He pulled in $80,000 per episode (22 episodes in total) in the short-lived TV series where he played a lawyer who becomes the guardian of a family member’s orphaned baby girl. The show was “Kevin Hill”.

A Brooklyn native, he studied acting at the High School made famous by the 80’s TV show, “Fame”. He’s since starred alongside some of Hollywood’s elite, including, Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Cruise.

During the lean years, before making it big, this actress worked as a telephone sex operator to pay the bills.

This guy gave up a career as a social worker when he got his acting start on 80’s cult classic “Miami Vice”. He has since become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces… and vioces. He can be heard on “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” as Ricardo Diaz.
