Los Angeles police and FedEx are investigating $500,000 in jewelry that came up missing on a California to New York shipment.
The missing jewels belong to reggae artist Sean Kingston, real name Kisean Anderson. The 18-year old signer had instructed his sister to ship the gems to a jeweler in New York, but by the time it reached it’s destination all that remained was an empty box.
To make matters worst, Mr. Anderson’s sister only purchased $500 worth of insurance for the half a million in jewels.
The investigation is ongoing.
