It’s always a thrill to listen to Black Thought do verbal gymnastic around the English language, and NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts are always a great distraction. Add to it that I’m working on my 3rd week of COVID-19 isolation, having something other than Netflix to keep my attention is so welcomed. Of course, The Roots frontman is also on lock-down, so he hosted this Tiny Desk Concert from his house. Now if we can only get Black Thought and Cassidy to go toe-to-toe on one of those IG battles.
