Wendy Williams has gotten the green light from Fox Television to go national with her talk show.

The self-proclaimed “Queen of All Radio” debuted The Wendy Williams Show back on July 15 for a six-week, four-market trial run in New York, Los Angeles, Detroit and Dallas. Fox executives made the decision to take the one-hour talk and gossip show nationwide after gauging the reaction of TV viewers. According to Variety the average ratings shot up 80% among women 25-54 and 200% among women 18-34.

The show ends it’s trail run this Friday but will return in 2009. Ms. Williams, in the meantime, doesn’t plan to quit her day job hosting the popular, nationally syndicated radio show, The Wendy Williams Experience.
