Bobby Brown Jr. suffered flu symptoms before death; family denies COVID may have been cause

Bobby Brown suffered another family tragedy when his son, Bobby Brown Jr., passed away last Wednesday, Nov. 18. The LAPD found the younger Brown’s body in his Los Angeles apartment.

According to Brown’s family, the younger Brown was suffering from flu-like symptoms before his death, but they don’t believe Coronavirus attributed to his passing. An autopsy did not provide conclusive findings on the cause of death and the L.A. County Medical Examiner has chosen to “defer” the official cause of death until additional testing has been completed.

The 28-year-old Bobby Brown, Jr. was the third of Brown’s seven children. And Brown’s second child with Kim Ward. Brown Jr. appeared alongside his father and stepmother, Whitney Houston, on the 2005 reality show, Being Bobby Brown.

Brown Jr.’s death follows a secession of tragedies for the Brown Family. In January 2015 the daughter Brown shared with Houston, Bobbi Kristina, was found unconscious in a bathtub in Georgia townhouse. She died seven months later. She was 22.

In 2012 Houston was pronounced dead after she was found laying face-down in a bathtub in Beverly Hills, CA. Houston was 48 when she died.
