Social media is full of unsubstantiated rumors of Offset stepping out on Cardi. In December 2019 Offset claimed his Instagram account was hacked after a DM sent to Sarah “Jade” Wattley, Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s girlfriend, from Offset’s account. “Miss u fr.” The message read.
Wattley took the bait, posting a public response, “Your wife @iamcardib has a OPEN CRIMINAL CASE , why are you writing me you don’t respect her ??????? Theirs a lot of shit I haven’t exposed yet , but there’s a time for that I’m the QUEEN of talking shit now I’m backing it up.”
More recently internet sleuths have pointed to a livestream video as evidence that Offset remains unfaithful. In the video, Offset can be seen playing a video game. As Cardi enters the room, he scrambles to hide his phone.
He first tried sliding it into his pocket but soon realized that his pockets could be too tight. This prompted him to do what most of us would do – slid it under his butt. Given Offset’s past, the court of public opinion delivered a guilty verdict, immediately accusing the Migos rapper of cheating.

Offset hopped on Instagram to clear the air, imploring “folks” to stop focusing “on something negative”, and denying any wrong doing, “That wasn’t nothing when I grabbed my phone, playing a game. I ain’t even look, make a call, Facetime, anything on my phone. Period.”
“Got folks out here dying. You wanna focus on something negative. We got too much negativity,” he said.
Perhaps he has a point, considering that he laughed the moment Cardi B left the room. The question however is, why wouldn’t he acknowledge he hid his phone with thousands of people watching? The verdict is still out!
