Signer Christina Aguilera has announced on Tuesday (Oct. 12)her 5-year-old marriage to Jordan Bratman is coming to an end.

Last Thursday (Oct. 7) Aguilera, 29, filed for divorce from Bratman, 33, in Los Angeles County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences, according to court papers the two had officially separated on September 11.
Along with seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s 2-year-old son Max, the three time Grammy winner has also petitioned the court to separate her assets from that of her Bratman’s and award her all the money she has earned before, during and after the marriage. Aguilera has also asked the court reject any child support claims Bratman may make.
It’s been reported that the couple had signed a prenuptial agreement before their 2005 nuptials.
