26-year-old rapper Kid Cudi, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, was arrested in New York on Friday and charged with criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Very little is known about the the circumstances that led to his arrest at this time.
Cudi, a relative newcomer on the mainstream rap scene released his debut album in 2009 entitled, “Man on the Moon: The End of the Day”. ‘Day ‘n’ Nite’ a single off the album made it to the Top 10 on Billboards Hot 100 charts. In addition to music Cudi also has a budding acting career, he co-stars in the HBO comedy series ‘How to Make it in America’.
