Scott Storch appeared in a Broward County Court in Florida on Friday (April 10) to answer Grand Theft charges leveled against him after he failed to return a leased Bentley.
According to the leasing company, 7 months passed before they were able to retrieve the vehicle, which was supposed to be returned on March 2008. The 35-year-old Storch, who was once a highly sort after music producer, plead not guilty to the charges and was released on bail.
“We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge. There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client,” read a statement from his attorney Bradford M. Cohen.
