Professional internet gossiper Perez Hilton filed a lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas’ tour manager, Polo Molina for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The suit comes just days after Hilton, real name Mario Lavandeira, wrote a series of posts on mirco-blogging site twitter.com asking his fans to call the police because he had just been assaulted at an afterparty for the MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night in Canada.
Hilton later admitted the altercation occurred after he taunted ‘Peas member Will.I.Am with gay slurs. The two got into argument at another party, and according to Hilton, that is when Molina punched him. “Lavandeira (Hilton) sustained injury to his eye and was bleeding as a result of this violent and malicious attack,” states the lawsuit. Hilton is seeking damages in excess of $25,000 for medical costs and damages due to “humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress.”
Molina turned himself in to Canadian authorities on Monday.
