It is no secret that Eminem and Nick Cannon have had words in the past, especially when it came to Cannon’s ex-wife Mariah Carey. Well, it seems the beef has been rekindled due to Eminem’s featured verse on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above”.
Em, who dated Mariah — a claim Mariah denies, and the Cannon/Carey clan have traded verses before. Mariah took shots at Slim Shady on the song “Obsessed” off her 2003 album, I Want to Know What Love Is. And Em fired shots at Mariah and Nick on the song “The Warning” in 2009.
On Fat Joe’s “Lord Above” Em raps:
I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note
But that other dude’s whipped—that pussy got him neutered
Tried to tell him this chick’s a nutjob ‘fore he got his jewels clipped
Almost got my caboose kicked
Fool, quit, you not gon’ do shit
I let her chop my balls off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick
Cannon responded to Em during his radio show telling the MC to go pop whatever he pops, a nod to Eminem’s former substance abuse issues. But, that wasn’t all Cannon had to say to the rapper posting on Instagram, “Fat Joe album is 🔥🔥🔥. Star-studded, he even did some charity work and dug @Eminem out his grave I mean cave!! LOL FLAM FLAM! BLAM BLAM! NICK CANNON!! Bring your A*s to @MTVWILDNOUT to Battle like a real legend Grandpa Marshall!!”
