Actor Nipsey Russell, who had been suffering from cancer, died Sunday afternoon at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
Russell was born in Atlanta and launched his television career in the 1961 television show ‘Car 54, Where are You?’ Russell made numerous television and film appearances throughout the years. He was 80.
