Fox Cancels Nicey’s ‘Do Not Disturb’

Fox’s comedy Do Not Disturb becomes the first causality of the Fall TV season, after network execs canceled the multi-camera sitcom after only three episodes.

The critically panned show, which stars (starred) Niecy Nash and Jerry O’Connell, was in trouble from day 1. After the show’s premiere episode producers sent letters to TV critics apologizing for “perpetrating bad television.”

While no official word has been released from Fox, Do Not Disturb is expected to be pre-empted next week with re-runs of its lead-in Brad Garrett’s ‘Til Death.
