‘Sopranos’ star James Gandolfini died Wednesday while on vacation in Rome.
For nearly a decade Gandolfini, 51, portrayed mob boss Tony Soprano on HBO’s Emmy Award-winning drama “The Sopranos”. His cause of death is not yet known, but it’s believed he may have suffered a heart attack.

…HBO said of Mr. Gandolfini in a statement on Wednesday, “He was a special man, a great talent, but more importantly, a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect.”
