Former A Different World actress Jasmine Guy has filed for Bankruptcy.
Guy, who can be seen in the new CW series Vampire Diaries, filed for Chapter 13 protection in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking help with $123,503 in back taxes and fees. The sizable debt was accumulated while Guy was married to ex-husband Terrence Mitchell Duckett, who also owes back taxes to the tune of $94,354.
The two ended their 11-year marriage in April with Guy walking away with most of the couple’s property, including cars, jewelry, artwork, furniture and sole custody of their daughter.
