Tristan Wilds, who played corner boy, Michael Lee for two seasons of the HBO hit series, The Wire has landed a spot on CW’s upcoming Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off/remake.
Mr. Wilds will star as Dixon Mills, whose family moves to Beverly Hills in order to seek treatment for his grandmother’s (Jessica Walter) alcohol addiction.
Details on the start of production were not made available, but shooting should start some time this year.
Mr. Wilds’ character, Michael, played a pivotal role in the last two seasons of The Wire, which ended its 6-year run earlier this year.
