Pop artist Jessica Simpson is preparing to reposition her career towards the Country music genre in hopes of jump starting her stalled career.
Ms. Simpson last album, 2006’s, “Public Affair,” did very poorly despite a very strong first week of sales. With the planned September release of her Country album she declared to Elle magazine, “I will never do pop again.” She insists she’ll leave Pop music to her sister Ashlee, “I’m just not rhythmic like that. I might shake my booty, but I’ll be off the beat. My sister Ashlee has got all the rhythm in the family.”
