New Orleans police are on the hunt for Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

A warrant was issued for Gooding’s arrest on a charge of misdemeanor battery after it was alledged that he shoved a female Bourbon Street bartender early Tuesday morning (July 31).

Trouble started around 3 a.m. inside The Old Absinthe House in the French Quarter when Gooding objected to tourists trying to take his picture.

“Gooding soon became very aggravated with them,” the New Orleans police said in a statement.

The bartender came over and asked Gooding to “calm down,” but was “pushed her away with an open hand” by the actor. After which one of the bartender’s co-workers dialed 911.

When the bartender told Gooding the cops were on their way, he “allegedly pushed her again, and left the bar,” according to police.
