Elba, who appeared in 7 episodes of NBC’s The Office last season, will taken on executive producer duties for the as-yet-untitled series. Joining him, also as executive producer, will be Battlestar Galactica’s David Eick.
The show will revolve around a defense attorney who does battle against a corrupt D.A.’s office and city government.
Meanwhile, until details of the proposed show are ironed out and contract are signed; you can catch Elba on the big screen. His next flick Takers hits theaters in February.
