The hilariously awful “Bangkok Dangerous” took advantage of a really slow box office weekend, coming out on top with $7.8 million in ticket sales, as Ben Stiller’s “Tropic Thunder” drops down one notch to second place, adding 7.5 million to it’s over $96 million grand total.
The Anna Faris lead “House Bunny” claims the #3 slot after pulling in $5.9 million, while the “Dark Knight” juggernaut keeps rolling. After hitting the $500 million mark last week Chris Nolan’s critically acclaimed Caped Crusader remake sits in 4th place, selling $5.7 million at the box office. Don Cheadle’s “Traitor” doesn’t skip a beat; it remains at #5 for the second week with $4.6 million in ticket sales.
