Christina Milian, The Dream divorce made final

An Atlanta judge signed off on Christina Milian‘s divorce from singer-songwriter-producer The Dream, marking an end to a year-long process that lasted longer than the marriage itself.

On Monday (Oct. 24) Milian’s attorney Randy Kessler stated that Milian and The Dream, whose real name is Terius Nash, were able to reach a mutual resolution in their divorce and that the judge signed the final paperwork this month.

Last week The Chicago Sun-Times reported the divorce settlement would net Milian a cool $4 million, “Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and that she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court,” said Kessler, according to the paper.

Milian and The Dream were married in 2009 and separated in July 2010. The two have an infant daughter together.
