Darryl McDaniels, a.k.a. DMC formally of Run-DMC, was hospitalized over the weekend.
Mr. McDaniels, 44, was complaining of pain and swelling in his left arm when he sort help at an undisclosed medical facility in New Jersey. After an examination, doctors discovered two major blood clots. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on Friday.
The sudden health scare caused him to miss a planed appearance at the AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament in Brooklyn on Saturday
There has been no word on his current condition.
