Keshia Cole’s mother, Frankie Lons, has not been shy about sharing her problems with drug addiction. Cole herself has been very open about her mother’s struggles, and efforts to get her help. Following a 2018 relapse, the “You’ve Changed” signer addressed fans about her mom, ”I’m hoping if any of u are dealing with a family member who’s battling with drug addiction, that you, yourself are learning how to cope with the struggle of it all. And all the pain it brings to see a loved one constantly relapsing. See them go back to the streets because that’s what they’re used to, or would rather be. I really miss you! And will always love u #FrankTheBank 👑❤️.”

Over the weekend, Cole shared positive updates on her mom, praising Lon on Instagram and marking Lons’ 30 days in rehab, ”Do you believe in the power of love? What about lack thereof? 50/50. There’s strength in knowing there’s something or someone you can always lean back on. Someone to catch u when u fall. I’ve been being strong for you, hoping I’ll get a chance to feel that feeling from you. 30 days THIS THURSDAY…This isn’t to discredit ANYONE this post is simply to say, that I’m proud of you shawty 😇 AKA #FrankDaBank 😘 #MommiesMatter.”
