A news crew from New York’s CW11, doing a story on the consequences of America’s hard economic times, followed a group of repo men around as they went about their daily business of repossessing vehicles because of late lease or loan payments.
As it was, the repo men arrived at the doorsteps of Lil Kim who was four months behind on the payments for her silver Bentley.
As video and audio rolled two repo men approached the rap artist’s front door in New Jersey. She was ask via intercom to hand over the car keys, which she refused telling the men she’d have her “accountant take care of the problem”.
“Basically, she told us to get off the property. We were hoping that she’d give us the keys, being that it’d be the right thing to do. It’s not her vehicle,” said repo man Cyro Miranda.
The reporter on the story, hoping to get Lil Kim’s reaction also got a mouth full, “Oh please, get the f*** outta here. You are so f***ing ridiculous.”
Kim’s publicist, Tracy Nguyen, says the vehicle was a gift and that the “matter is currently being resolved and is completely out of Kim’s hands”.
