Things aren’t looking too great for the Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker. He is easily one of the most influential players that the team looks to on a nightly basis when it comes to production. On Friday night (Nov. 22) against the Denver Nuggets, Walker collided headfirst with teammate Semi Ojeleye.

Walker was taken off the court on a stretcher. At this time it is unknown the severity of his injury, however, upon being taken to the hospital the team did state he was experiencing ‘concussion-like symptoms.’

Walker was later released from the hospital and is due to return at some point today for further testing. We pray that the injury isn’t serious and that Walker will make his way back to the court soon because there is no doubt that in order to clinch a spot in the NBA finals the Celtics will need the help of their beloved point guard.

This season Walker has scored 21.1 points per game and is 39 percent from the three-point range. Celtic’s Nation is hoping that the point guard will have a speedy and healthy recovery.
