The theme had a Latin flare to it that most in the audience and across the country seemed to enjoy, but some of the MAGA crowd wasn’t thrilled with some of the dance moves the two ladies put on Sunday and thought it was a bit too much.
I’m far from a prude, but I turned to my wife and just said ‘wow!’ that dripped with sarcasm. Not what I expected from the ‘wholesome’ NFL.

The NFL claims they are taking a stand against sex trafficking yet they have a halftime show degrading and objectifying women with pole dancing

The performance also had a political message and featured children in cages and the Puerto Rican flag. Fox Sports cut away from the children in cages so the audience didn’t see it.
But JLo had a message for those who had a problem with her message. Lopez said this
“All I want my girls, the little girls on stage with me and all over the world to know is how to use their voices and be proud of everything they are,” Lopez said in a video before her set. “Other people can try to build walls, keep us out or put us in cages. We are proud to recognize that all of us together are what makes this beautiful country truly great.”
Shakira added later that “it’s very important for us to convey a message of unity and also to show what a relevant force the Latin community is in this country.”
If people didn’t know how important the Latin community is, they do now.
