Forbes Magazine has released a list of talk show (broadcast TV and radio) top earners and the queen of day-time talk not only holds on to her throne at the #1 spot but leaves her rivals in the dust.
Forbes lists Oprah Winfrey‘s earnings at $275 million a year. In a very distant second is the king of radio, Howard Stern, pushes his way into the TV-heavy list with a yearly earnings total of $75 million (nearly four times less than what Ms. Winfrey makes). TV’s Judge Judy, Judy Sheindlin, ties for 3rd place with David Letterman, with both pulling in around $45 million. And Dr. Phil McGrath in a surprisingly close 5th place, he makes $40 million per year.
