After Prison, Concert Tour for DMX

DMX has wrapped up his post-prison career plans.

The 39-year-old former chart topper has been added to America’s Ambush line-up, a national tour that will also include some of his rap peers, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Rampage, and Rah Digga.

X, born Earl Simmons, is currently on the last leg of a 3-month prison sentence in Arizona. He was sent to the clink on January 30 on drug possession and animal cruelty charges, ordered to serve 90 days with an additional 18 months of supervised probation after his release. Barring any behavioral incidents he’ll be a free man on April 30.

The concert dates are set to run through the summer (June-August), with plans for an international version to follow (though DMX is only mentioned as participating in the U.S. tours at this time).
