Liborio Molina, the manager of Pop group The Black Eyed Peas, struck a deal with prosecutors in Toronto that will result in the assault charges against him being dropped.

In June Molina slugged internet gossip queen Perez Hilton outside a Toronto nightclub following a video awards show.

In a court hearing on Wednesday (Nov. 18) Molina agreed to the terms of the deal, which call for him to write Hilton, real name Mario Lavandeira, a letter of apology and to not have any contact with the high profile blogger, except through Hilton’s attorney.

He was also ordered to stay 100 yards away from the club were the incident occurred, donate $500 Canadian ($476 US) to charity and is barred from carrying any weapons for the next 12 months.
