After a week-long medical episode, French Montana is finally out of the ICU. The rapper appears grateful that he has recovered after being treated for exhaustion and dehydration.
Montana, 35, updated his fans of his progress, sharing a photo of himself half dressed with IV ports still in his arms and several monitors attached to his chest. The caption alongside the photo has the rapper, real name Karim Kharbouch, thanking everyone for their love and support, “I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time!!!”
Montana is still under medical observation. Late last week, the rapper was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at his home in Calabasas. He had an elevated heart rate and was feeling nauseous before collapsing. On Monday, his longtime pal Megan Thee Stallion visited him at the hopspital and shared a video of the two on Instagram. On Tuesday, TMZ reported that the rapper had an irregular heartbeat and stomach pains. A sources close to the rapper suggested he was being treated for possible food poisoning.
Montana, famous for dating Khloe Kardashian, has made trips to Europe and the Middle East in the last two weeks. Insiders say that it was during these trips that he could have had contact with contaminated food.
