This is possible the coolest thing to come around in a long while. The guys over at Raffaele Iannello Creative Studio (raffaeleiannello.com) have crafted a 1:6 scale replica of the legendary Hughes/MD 500 helicopter into a ceiling fan.
Featuring a 3-speed motor, the copter’s exterior is crafted out of fiberglass with carbon fiber blades and the interior is made of aluminum. No price or release date, but put me down for one.
