Nick Cannon celebrates with class of 2020 as he receives degree in Criminology from Howard

Don’t “be distracted. Press on,” Nick Cannon said during Howard University’s virtual graduation ceremony as he accepted a degree in Criminology/Administration of Justice, with a minor in Africana Studies.

The Masked Singer host was a guest speaker at the online graduation ceremony. “I graduated from Howard University @howarduniversity1867 today! Received a degree in Criminology / Administration of Justice and a minor in Africana Studies! Had the opportunity to speak at the virtual ceremony, Masters and PHD is next! 🙌🏾 #HU2020,” he posted on Instagram.

Cannon, 39, enrolled at Howard in 2016, telling fans he decided to get his degree at the HBCU because he’s “always seeking new challenges and continual growth”.

Like all schools in the country, Howard’s in-person pomp and circumstance was replaced with virtual presentations because of COVID-19 lockdowns.
